The manufacture of the product is carried out as follows.
A mold 3 is placed under the hopper 1 with the molding mixture 2. Through the air channels 4 in the side walls of the hopper 1, pressurized air is introduced into the space above the molding mixture 2. At the same time, in the lower part of the bunker, the mixture is fluidized by applying high pressure air through pipelines 5. Compressed air is supplied from compressed air tank 6, which is replenished with compressed air by means of a compressor through valve 7.
The mold 3 in the transverse direction is bounded by the molding plates 8 and 9, which under the action of the piston system 10 (only one piston is shown) move towards each other under great pressure. The molding plates are made up of channels 11, which are connected to supply source 13 and pressure source 14, respectively, using supply lines and a three-way valve 12.
The feed of the molding mixture from the hopper is accompanied by vacuuming the cavity of the mold through the channels 11 located in the cavities of the mold, using a source of discharge 13. During the entire process of filling the mold, the pressures of the compressed air above the molding sand are independently controlled. in the bunker and in the lower part of the bunker from the conditions for ensuring the laminar flow of the molding sand from the bunker, depending on the configuration of the cavity of the mold and taking into account its change during the filling process.
Thus, in particular, in the manufacture of products whose shape corresponds to that shown in the drawing, the pressure control is carried out as follows.
